Paint quality depends on preparation and on whether the workshop has a spray booth. A booth controls temperature and dust, which shows in how smooth and durable the finish is.
Colour matching is the other half. A good workshop mixes to the vehicle's paint code — usually on a plate inside the door pillar or bonnet — and blends into adjacent panels so the repair is not visible.
Mixed to the factory paint code and blended into adjacent panels, usually not. Metallic and pearlescent finishes are harder to match, so favour a workshop with a spray booth and mixing experience.
Avoid waxing and high-pressure washing for about two weeks while the paint fully cures. Clean water and a soft cloth are fine in the meantime.
